KASIA STERRIKER


Kasia Sterriker is a renowned British / Polish Environmental Artist, Biophilic Designer and Scientist. She is known for blurring lines between art and science and has recently relocated to the UAE, where she and her husband are working on a whole new portfolio of Bonsai based Environmental Art focussed on trees native to the region.


Born in Poland, her engagement with art and science dates back to her childhood years. There were two main people who influence her style and inspired her carrier path. Her father, Wlodek Pietraszko, an International Bonsai Master and Instructor, and her grandfather, a university lecturer and distinguished Engineer, who was responsible for many landmarks civil projects in Central and Eastern Europe.



After a spell in academia, she transitioned into the world of design and property development. Opportunities to expand on her experience led her to move to the UK in 2014 which she used as a base from which to undertake a range of artistic commissions, installations, design projects and property developments in London, Paris, Geneva, Zurich and Brussels for institutions, high net worth individual and some very interesting world-famous personalities.


In 2019 she has been able to focus more on her Environmental Art, which often gives her the opportunity to collaborate with her father, the well-known International Bonsai Master.


She has a track record of regular TV and radio presentation. And her work has been presented in innumerable exhibitions across Europe.


Besides that, she is an educationalist and undertakes voluntary work in hospices as a horticulture therapist. She also is a fundraiser for environmental organizations and collaborates with non-profit organizations and schools to educate about environmental and architecture psychology.
